Pamela “Pammy Sue” Smith

Pamela “Pammy Sue” Smith, passed away on March 2, 2026. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose laughter and love touched all who knew her.

Pammy Sue is survived by her husband Gerald Smith; her son Josh (Shanell) Heath; their daughter Cyrille Heath and sons Machi and Khalil Jones; and her daughter Andrea (Diane) and Andrea’s children Wynter Perry and Zane Schmaltz. She also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.

Known for her kind heart and vibrant spirit, Pammy Sue was an avid animal lover who enjoyed fishing, bowling, and reading. She especially loved paranormal and true‑crime shows. Her favorite flower was the skunk from Bambi and loved all things Betty Boop. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and laughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents David and Crystal Stover; her brother David Stover Jr. and his wife Pam Stover; and sisters‑in‑law Dorthy Stover and Penny Williams.

She is survived by sisters Diana (Eric) Williams of Flora and Cindy (Mike) Cadwallader of Romney; brothers Greg (Darlene) Williams of Galveston, Jack Stover of Lafayette, and Dwayne Williams of Kokomo; as well as many nieces, nephews, great‑nieces, great‑nephews, and great‑great‑nieces and nephews, not to mention the vast number of cousins far and wide.

Pammy Sue’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and a spirit that made every room brighter. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Ted Lucas officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Vivian White

Vivian White, 94, born on April 3, 1931, died March 3, 2026, in Portland, IN. Daughter of Orange & Blanche Achor of Howard County, she married Richard White on October 9, 1948, at St. Patrick’s Church. He preceded her in death on September 22, 2001.

Vivian was employed at Delco Electronics for nearly 30 years before retiring in 1993. She was an active golfer & bowler, loved to crochet, & donated many baby blankets to the Jay County Pregnancy Care Center. She also volunteered at the Kokomo Public Library and the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store. She was also a loyal member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Vivian is survived by three sons Jerry (wife Karen) of South Carolina, Richard (wife Barbara) of North Carolina, and Joe White of New York, one daughter Christina (husband Barry) Weaver of Portland, Indiana, six grandchildren Joshua & Andrew (wife Kristy) White, Brian Weaver, Lisa (husband Derek) Buckingham, Ben Bacharach-White, & Vanessa White, and five great-grandchildren Carter & Brady White, Ellie, Gabriel, & Olivia Buckingham.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, at Ellers Mortuary, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo. There will be a Catholic Funeral service at St. Patrick Church, 1204 N. Armstrong St., Kokomo, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9, with interment and graveside committal immediately following the funeral at South Union Cemetery.



Donald Gene Cobb

Donald Gene Cobb, 95, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away March 3, 2026. He was born on September 16, 1930, in Kokomo, Indiana, the son of John and Nina (Shelton) Cobb. Don was employed at Chrysler for 35½ years. He enjoyed woodworking, building things, and helping his family farm. He used to love square dancing with his wife Becky.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Michael (Kim) Cobb and Mark (Lori) Cobb; grandchildren Melissa (Brent) Richmond, Tracey Ahnert, Michala Cobb, and Brody Cobb; great-grandchildren James (Kennedy) Richmond, Jacob (Rhiannon) Richmond, Jacey (Blake) Richmond, Jansen (Ellison Boles) Richmond, Isaac, Jarron, Kylynn, Legend, Makenna, Macklen Beekman, Ila Ahnert, Anthony Townsend, Sean Townsend, Matthew (Brittany) Helton, and Megan (Steve) Young; and great-great grandchildren Henry Richmond and Alena Helton.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 66 years Becky; and granddaughter Joelle Townsend.

Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Monday, March 9, 2026, at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM Monday, March 9, 2026, at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Nancy Darlene Wood

Nancy Darlene Wood, 77, passed from this world on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Ascension St Vincent Kokomo Hospital. She was born on January 12, 1949, in Tipton, Indiana, to Melvin O. Wood and Berta I. (Delap) Wood.

Nancy found happiness in every day and simple pleasures such as playing bingo and cards with dear friends, cheering on her beloved IU Hoosiers, and sharing a lifelong love for Elvis Presley. She has been a member of Crossroads Community Church; she deeply cherished her church family and her spiritual community that sustained her.

Nancy will be remembered for her infectious laugh accompanied with that radiant smile that brightened every room she was in. Her warmth, humor, and joyous spirit will be carried on and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Amy Coar, Joe Wood, Shane (Jenny) Wood, Kevin (Josie) Wood, Jeanie Wood, Terry (Barbie) Wood, Bradley Wood, and Darren (Ginny) Cushman-Wood; her sister-in-law Sue Wood; her special friend Marsha White; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews who brought light to her days.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Danny Joe Wood, Betty Lewellyn, Forest “Butch” Wood, Jerry Wood, and Marvin Wood.

Visitation will be held at Young-Nichols Funeral Home on Monday, March 9, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The funeral will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave Welch presiding. Burial at a later date will occur at Union Cemetery.

Virgil L. Tucker

Virgil L. Tucker passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 98. Virgil was born on February 27, 1928, and was a resident of Anderson, Indiana.

Larry L. Norris Jr.

Larry L. Norris Jr., fondly known as Little Larry to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, in his hometown of Kokomo, IN, at the age of 54. Born on September 7, 1971, to Larry Norris Sr. and the late Arlie Norris, Larry’s life was one of adventure, passion, and an unquenchable curiosity about the world around him.

A proud graduate of Maconaquah High School, Larry carried the spirit of his education throughout his life, always eager to learn and explore new things. He dedicated many years of service as an inspector at the Chrysler Casting Plant, where he was not only a valued employee but also an active member of UAW Local 1166. His colleagues remember him as a man who was not only handy and knowledgeable but also deeply passionate about his work and the people he worked with.

Larry’s interests were as varied as they were intense. He was an avid watcher of the History Channel, and his knowledge of historical events was both impressive and infectious. He could often be found recounting historical facts and stories to anyone willing to listen, always eager to share his passion. His love for cars was unparalleled; he could tell you anything you wanted to know about any model or make, and his expertise was sought after by friends and family alike.

Beyond his intellectual pursuits, Larry was a man who cherished simple pleasures. He loved being with his dogs Malachi and Brutus, who were not just pets but beloved companions. His adventures with them were a source of joy and contentment, and their loyalty and affection were a testament to Larry’s kind and compassionate nature.

Larry’s adventurous spirit was matched by his ability to fix and build anything he set his mind to. His hands were rarely still, always working on a project or lending a hand to those in need. His skills were a combination of self-taught expertise and a natural talent for understanding the mechanics of the world around him.

He is survived by his father Larry Norris Sr. and his sister Lona Hernandez. Larry was preceded in death by his mother Arlie Norris, and his cherished sisters Anita Jean Ferguson and Julia Hanke. The absence of his beloved pets Malachi and Brutus was deeply felt by Larry, and they are fondly remembered alongside him.

Larry’s life was a testament to the power of passion and the importance of family, friendship, and loyalty. He lived fully, loved deeply, and left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by the many lives he touched. Larry L. Norris Jr.’s adventurous spirit, handy skills, and passionate heart will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
