Molly Stephenson

On April 20, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., our family lost a loyal friend, companion, and guardian; one that we are eternally grateful to have had. We rescued Molly from Indiana Cocker Rescue and were smitten from the very second we saw her face. Born on July 21, 2012, named Indiana Joan, we felt Molly was a little more fitting. She was affectionately known as Molly Dolly and Molly Girl, just to name a few.

Molly was preceded in death by family dogs Sammy & Henry. We know she is having a heavenly bird chase with our “Doc” Sammy & our “Sarge” Henry right now, and then she will find a cold tile floor to lay down on directly after with Henry, while Sammy finds a blanket to crawl under near a sunny window. All were lovingly taken care of over the years by our dog nanny Michal Noble. The family would also like to thank the staff at Northeast Animal Clinic, especially Veterinarians Dr. Byerly and Dr. Rigsby.

After nearly 11 beautiful years of keeping our family together, Molly took her final breath peacefully, surrounded by two of her favorite humans Bob & Tonya Stephenson. Molly was Tonya’s spirit animal in all ways. They had such a special bond. She stayed by her side and followed Tonya throughout the house and yard, although slower in the last few years. Molly is also survived by three human siblings Mindi (John) Strong, Clayton Yocom, and Cassidy (Andrew) Glassburn.

Food driven since Day One, she loved treats of all kinds and couldn’t live without her daily Greenie. She always endured the small grandchildren but really loved it when they dropped food on the floor.

Molly’s absence will be felt deeply and forever by those who loved her most. We will miss our Molly, but we have cherished memories to warm our hearts and souls. We love you, Molly.
