Barbara S. Warner, 81, of Peru, passed away at 7:48 P.M., Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne. Barbara was born in Peru on October 30, 1944, the daughter of Lamoine and Dorothy (Murphy) Aikman. She married David L. Warner on June 1, 1974, and he preceded her in death on April 8, 1998.
Barbara was a 1963 graduate of Peru High School and a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafting, knitting, reading, crochet, and playing Yahtzee. However, her passion was her family, doting on the children, grandchildren, and extended family. Surviving are her daughters Michelle Hall and her husband Steven Hall II and Angelia (Warner) Atkinson, both of Peru; stepsons David L Warner, Jr. of Kentucky and Michael (Shelly) Warner of Bunker Hill; grandchildren Cason Oaks and Cayden Oaks of Peru, Shyane Warner and Deandra Warner of Kentucky, Austin Warner of Wabash, Kelli Welsh of Texas, and Justice Warner, Osha Harrison, and Searra Toth of Kokomo and Brandon Warner of Bunker Hill; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister Judy Smiley.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, three brothers, a brother-in-law, a niece, and one grandchild.
Memorial services celebrating the life of Barbara S. Warner will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Oakdale Baptist Church, 348 Chili Ave, Peru, with Pastor Phil Cruea officiating. Family and friends will gather from 1:30 to 3:00 P.M., Sunday at the Oakdale Baptist Church.
Barbara Joy Lake (Pyecroft)
Barbara Joy Lake (Pyecroft), age 75, passed away on June 8, 2026, in Elyria, Ohio. Born on May 21, 1951, in Elyria to the late Everett “Bud” and Barbara Pyecroft, she married Galen Lake on April 20, 1974.
Barbara worked for 27 years as a phlebotomist at Elyria Medical Center.
She enjoyed making floral arrangements, antiquing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Galen; her sons Joseph (Jennifer) Lake of Kokomo, Indiana, and Michael (Carolyn) Lake; and her cherished grandchildren, Tyler Lake, Kayla Lake (Katherine Salsbury), Taylor Lake, Bella Lake, Laney Lake, and Tanner Lake. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and brother John Pyecroft.
Barbara’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Timothy Mark “Tim” Pullen
Timothy Mark “Tim” Pullen, 72, Kokomo, passed away on June 4, 2026, at his home. He was born February 17, 1954, in Kokomo, the son of the late Robert & Janic (Ewing) Pullen.
Tim is survived by his daughters Cynthia (Ronald) Neipert and Tammy Sapp, both of Florida; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Joseph (Sheila) Pullen; along with several nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Jim Pullen, Cynthia Pullen, and Marcia S. Bess.
In keeping with Tim’s wishes, no services will be held. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation.
Luka Alexander Marner
Luka Alexander Marner, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, at the age of 5 months.
Though his time on earth was far too short, Luka filled every day with love, joy, and unforgettable memories. His sweet smile and gentle spirit brought happiness to all who knew him. He was deeply loved by his family and will be remembered for the light he brought into their lives.
Luka is survived by his parents Brandon Marner and Lauren Franklin; his siblings Zander, Makenna, and Mikara; his grandparents Anthony and Shawn Franklin and Dawn Marner; as well as great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family members whose lives were blessed by knowing him.
Luka was preceded in death by his identical twin brother Jax Anthony Marner. While their family wished for more time with them, they find peace in knowing the brothers are reunited once again, together in the presence of the angels.
Though Luka’s life was measured in months, the love he gave and inspired will last a lifetime. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
