Lillie Mae Pressey
Lillie Mae Pressey, 96, went home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2026. She was born June 30, 1930, to the late Jesse Rhodes and Dora Booher in Grubbs, Arkansas.
Lillie married Bob Pressey in 1973, and together they raised four children. Lillie loved her family deeply. Those who knew her often spoke of how easily she welcomed others. She was someone who never met a stranger.
In her working years, Lillie served as a Quality Control Inspector for Delco until retirement. For many years she enjoyed volunteering at the nursing home during her free time and took pride in doing so.
Faith and simple joys shaped the rhythm of her days. She was a previous member of Gethsemane Tabernacle. She was a devout Christian and loved serving the Lord. She found joy in gardening and birds, and cherished the bird houses her husband built for her. She loved being outdoors, fishing, camping, and spending time with her dogs.
At home, Lillie’s hands were rarely still. She sewed and crafted, cooked and baked, and took particular pride in her homemade bread. She always made sure someone was there to snap a picture of it before it was gone. Lillie tried to preserve the memory of all parts of her life, not just her cooking. She used the same camera for many years, always capturing moments for her family to look back on.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Lillie is survived by her children Renee Wade, Dave Harris, Charles Harris, and Michael Pressey; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Lillie is preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Pressey and her brothers Ancil Rhodes and Ernest Rhodes.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, on July 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m.
Michael Stephen Leader
Michael Stephen Leader, 72, of Tipton, Indiana, formerly of Savannah, Missouri, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Born on September 19, 1953, in San Diego, California, Michael was the son of Morris and Hazel Leader.
Michael spent his career as a truck driver before retiring. He was known for his strong work ethic, his stubborn streak, and the sense of humor that stayed with him until the very end. He enjoyed fishing and cherished the time he spent with family.
Michael was preceded in death by his father Morris; his first wife Debbie Stewart Leader, whom he married in 1974; his brother Bob Leader; nephew Chase Leader; and nieces Shelby Wilson and Haleigh Smith. He was also preceded in death by his in-laws Bob and Jeannene Stewart.
He is survived by his wife Jean Ann Leader; his daughters Crissy Anderson (Shaun) and Ashley (Sherard) (David (Clarke) Lennon); his grandchildren Kameron Diamond (Sam), Lane Anderson, Lennon, McCartney Sherard, and Harrison Sherard; his great-grandchildren Maisy Diamond, Tauren Diamond, Honey Diamond, and Posey Diamond; his brother Rick Leader (Retha); his sisters Margaret Wilson, Kathy Leader (Earl), and Lori (David) Marshall; his sister-in-law Mutula Leader; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Michael will be remembered for his determination, his unmistakable sense of humor, and the love he had for his family. Though stubborn at times, he never lost his ability to make those around him laugh—even in his final days. His memory will live on in the stories, laughter, and love shared by all who knew him.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Michael’s honor to Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph, Missouri, 701 Lower Lake Road, St. Joseph, MO 64504.

Rebecca Ann Martin
Rebecca Ann Martin, 78, of Frankfort, died Saturday July 18, 2026, at the Clinton House Rehabilitation Center in Frankfort. She was born in Howard County, Indiana, on March 14, 1948, to Ralph and Dena (Halley) Drake. She spent several years growing up and living in the Prairie Township area.
Rebecca graduated in 1966 from Sharpsville-Prairie High School. Her love of sports focused on the Colts football team and any Major League Baseball game being played. She retired in 2014 from Federal Mogul in Frankfort where she worked in several capacities during her tenure. She was an avid gardener and truly relished spending time with her grandchildren. She watched many programs on the Game Show and Discovery Channel networks. She collected Coca-Cola memorabilia and was a frequent concert spectator as she enjoyed being a huge Michael Jackson fan.
Survivors include her children: Kelly (Brackney) Davis of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Lisa Brackney of Frankfort, Amy (Brackney) Pyke of Frankfort, Scott Martin of Frankfort, and Erica Martin of Frankfort. Grandchildren include Jacob Fahnestock, Courtney Brackney, Crysania Davis, Victoria LeTourneau, Taylor Pyke, Kara Brackney, Tristen Martin, Joseph LeTourneau, Makaila LeTourneau, and Julianna Martin. Rebecca is blessed with 15 great-grandchildren.
Rebecca will be buried at Liberty Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
