Beverly Joyce (Lambert) Schnepp

Beverly Joyce (Lambert) Schnepp, 92, of rural North Manchester, Indiana, passed peacefully at 12:05 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Parkview Wabash Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born February 23, 1934, in North Manchester to Riley and Ina T. (Rinehart) Lambert, Beverly grew up with the values of hard work, kindness, and family devotion that shaped her entire life.

A 1952 graduate of Central High School, Beverly married Stanley E. Schnepp on April 19, 1953, beginning a partnership that lasted 47 years until Stan’s passing in 2000. Their marriage was marked by shared adventures, bus tours, antique shopping trips, and a deep affection that carried them through decades of life together.

Beverly was a homemaker at heart, and her family was her greatest joy. She was an exceptional cook, known for always being in the kitchen-baking, preparing meals, and showing her love through food. In her younger years, she worked at Heckman Bindery in North Manchester and later used her culinary talents as a cook for the MSD school system, where her warmth and skill touched countless students and staff.

She loved to travel, especially on bus tours, and cherished the simple pleasure of antique shopping with Stan. Beverly’s life was defined by gentleness, devotion, and the quiet strength of someone who found happiness in caring for others.

She is survived by three children Phillip Schnepp of Wabash, Kelly (Sherri) Schnepp of Lagro, Indiana, and Beth (Willard Hall) Haupert of Kokomo, Indiana; four grandchildren Megan (Mark) Perkins, Jeff Schnepp, Levi (Laura) Haupert, and Alan (Lauren) Haupert; four great-grandchildren Riley Myers, Kelsey (Renn) Martin, Andrew Haupert, and Isaac Haupert; and great-great granddaughter Aurora Jaylynn Myers and her special friend Norm Stahlbaum of Valparaiso, Indiana.

Along with her husband, Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers Richard, Riley, and Max Lambert, two sisters Lorella “Lou” Greathouse and Beatrice “Rosie” Winger, and granddaughter Candice Haupert.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Chris Brock officiating. Burial will be Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Saturday.

Preferred memorial is St. Joseph’s Indian School, PO Box 300, Chamberlain, South Dakota 57325-9919, which is a reservation school, supporting Native American children, that was extremely special to Beverly.

Laverne Glen McQuiston

Laverne Glen McQuiston, 85, of Kokomo, passed away at 2:35 a.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Northwoods Village. He was born on September 24, 1940, in Kokomo, the son of Vern Glen and Jessie Catherine (Atkisson) McQuiston.

Laverne loved going to church and was a member of Kokomo Christian Church. He enjoyed going to get-togethers and socializing with others at different members’ homes. He liked going out to different places to eat. Most of all, he really loved and enjoyed being with family. Family meant everything to him.

Laverne was survived by his sisters Mary Ann Mossholder and Phyllis Jean (David) Croyle; nephews Lonnie Eric Sharp, Scott Edward Sharp, and Charles Arthur Mossholder Jr.; nieces Kelly Leanne Sharp, Laura Lynn (Sam) Youngblood, and Loretta Jo Polk; step-niece Melissa McKoon; six step-grand nieces and nephews; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Laverne was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Catherine McQuiston; brother Kenneth Lewis McQuiston; paternal grandparents Louis and Lyda (Stephens) McQuiston; maternal grandparents John and Jessie (Snow) Atkisson; and step-nephew Shawn (Christian) Croyle.

A funeral service celebrating Laverne’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Nicky Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the funeral home. Amy Cathleen Clark

Amy Cathleen Clark, 59, passed peacefully at home on the morning of July 25, 2026, with her family by her side. Amy had been ill for several years with multiple medical issues. She was an amazing woman throughout this long, arduous journey. Every day was a struggle. My daughter is my hero! She was courageous, resilient, and a fighter to the end.

She was born to Vicki S. Gray Clark and Eric J. Clark. She grew up in Lafayette, Indiana, and attended Lafayette Jefferson High School (1985). After high school, she attended Ball State University and graduated in 1991 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. For 33 years, she worked for the Indiana Department of Correction.

Amy is survived by her mother Vicki S. Clark (Jeff Cooke) of Lafayette; brother Eric J. Clark II (Kathryn) of Fredericksburg, VA; nephews Eric J. Clark III (Silvina) of Texas and Ewan A. Clark of Fredericksburg, VA; and aunts Jane E. Gray of Peru, Rachel Clark of Peru, and Gloria Hetzner of Kokomo.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Elizabeth A. Gray, Richard P. Gray, and Ralph and Marjorie Clark; stepfather Phillip Insko; and great-grandparents Audrey Mehl, Herbert Mehl, and Ervin and Marie Gray.

She enjoyed cross-stitching, diamond painting, reading, water activities, and rock concerts. Most of all, she loved her dogs. Her last dog Sully, named after her favorite musician, preceded her in death and will be interred with her.

Amy and her family wish to extend their great appreciation to Dr. Lloyd Lorenz and his staff for assisting Amy and guiding her through much of her medical treatment.

While her passing has left a huge void in her mom’s life, she has been welcomed to Heaven with loving, open arms by her family. Her pain and suffering in this life have ended, and now she is finally pain free and at peace.

A celebration of Amy’s life will be held at Flowers-Leedy Allen funeral home on August 17, 2026, with Pastor Brian Daniels officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m.–1:00 p.m., with service immediately following. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru, following the service.
