The softball season has arrived and with it comes the clink of aluminum bats, the smack of balls hitting leather mitts, the aroma of fresh popcorn, the rallying chants, and all of the little things that make the game a joy for players and spectators alike.

The Kokomo Middle School Lady Kats hosted Pioneer’s junior high softball squad on April 9 at Kokomo’s remarkable softball stadium on the high school campus. They next host Logansport on April 29.
