Stephen “Steve” Kent Richman
Stephen “Steve” Kent Richman, 76, Kokomo, passed away Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024, at Grand Brook Memory Care in Fishers, Indiana. Born in Muncie, Indiana on September 22, 1947, he was the son of Wilbur and Effie (Holbert)Richman. Steve graduated from Kokomo High School in 1966. He served honorably in the United States Navy, on the USS Charles H. Roan from 1967-1970.
He was married to Patricia (Patty) Richman on May 19, 1977. Steve is a Delphi Delco retiree (2001), where he was an active leader in the UAW through the 1980s. Throughout his life Steve was very active and loved to be outdoors. You could always find him camping, weather that was in a tent or his motorhome, training his dogs (German short-haired pointers) to hunt, hunting deer, pheasant and quail, floating the Eel River, fly fishing, golfing or just piddling in the yard.
Steve’s greatest trait was his loyalty and pride in his family and friends. He particularly enjoyed the company of his grandsons. Always one to help someone in need, he was known as someone you could rely on. His sarcastic sense of humor was a comfort to friends and family alike and he could always be counted on for a good “dad joke.” He especially enjoyed a good meal out and was very fond of his breakfast club at the Windmill Café.
He is preceded in death by his wife Patty (who recently passed on January 7th), his parents Wilbur and Effie (Holbert) Richman and brother Michael Richman. He is survived by his children Denise (Kim) Henderson, Indianapolis, IN; Jed (Molly) Richman, Pendleton, IN; grandchildren Jalen Hodges, Chicago, IL and J.R. and Toby Richman, Pendleton, IN; brother Tim Richman, Kokomo, IN and many special nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A funeral service will take place at 12 pm on Monday April 29, 2024, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Andrew Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Navy and the Greentown American Legion. Friends may visit with the family from 10 am to 12 pm on Monday at the funeral home. George R. Dickerson
George R. Dickerson, known as “Red Bone,” to many, was born on September 3, 1955, in Clarksville, TN, to George F. Dickerson and Viola (Earthmon) Dickerson. He embarked on his heavenly journey on April 25, 2024, at the age of 68. At an early age, George dedicated his life to God and was baptized at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church under the compassionate guidance of Pastor Grafton Pettus.
George attended Clarksville High School in Montgomery County. After finishing his education, he started his career at PL Porter and was able to retire early. George's genuine interests went beyond his work. He found joy and contentment in spending time with his grandson, Jaylen Marsh. During his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, playing cards with his close friend Jessie Hillman, and spending time with his furry companion, Bailey.
George had a deep passion for motorcycles. He was a highly respected member of the Naptown Riders for over 20 years serving as vice president for a few years before retiring from the chapter.
George Dickerson's memory will always be cherished by his loving wife, Loretta Smith Dickerson, and his daughters Alyssa (Demario) Brown from Champaign, IL, and Yolanda (Nate) Newsom from Louisville, KY. He leaves behind a legacy through his beloved grandchildren: Jaylen and Brianna from Kokomo, IN, Derrick from Fishers, IN, and Jaya from Jacksonville, FL.
George is survived by his sisters: Josie (Jimmy) Starks from Kokomo, IN; Barbara Dickerson and Sandra Jones-Dickerson from Clarksville, TN; and his brother, Grady Lee Dickerson from Kokomo, IN. He had a close relationship with his niece, Latisha (Melvin) Johnson, as well as his three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Samuel Dickerson.
George R. Dickerson's love and vibrant spirit will forever be remembered and engraved into the hearts of all blessed to know him. May his soul find eternal peace in the comforting embrace of the divine.

Jacqueline Sue Dolby
Jacqueline Sue Dolby, 70, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away April 25, 2024. She was born on October 8, 1953, in Marion, IN, the daughter of Richard and Mary Tubbs (Harvey).
Jackie graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1972. She worked at Village Pantry and Howard Haven for over 10 years. Jackie was a people person that enjoyed life and loved all those she came in contact with. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her great grandchildren. Jackie was a big Indianapolis Colts fan and enjoyed watching games.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Dawn Dolby of Kokomo, IN; son, James Walker (Micheala) of Kokomo, IN; granddaughter, Alysha Maloney (Brian) of Lafayette, IN; grandson, Teriq Stephenson of Jackson, MI; brothers, Terry Tubbs of Noblesville, IN; Gary Tubbs (Jeanine) of Alexandria, IN; nephews, Ron Foudray (Samantha); Mick Tubbs; Scott Tubbs (Renea); Rex Tubbs; Travis Tubbs; Ryan Tubbs (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Tobias, Aubrielle, and Cassidy; special friend, Jennifer Ewbanks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Shirley Waters and Sharon Foster, nephew John Foudray.
