Senior Night came to Kokomo High School on Jan. 9 as the Wildkats varsity wrestling squad manhandled the Northwestern Tigers, 63-15. And senior Chad Washburn was among the individual victors on the evening.

Washburn, along with Adam Kemper, Alona Smith, and Jalen May honored during the event for their dedication and contributions to the program. According to Head Wrestling Coach Jacob Bough, the win was a result of “exceptional skill and determination.”

“The event served as a fitting tribute to these seniors, marking a memorable chapter in their high school wrestling careers,” said Bough.

Other individual winners included Josh May, Christien Damewood, X'Avion Ford, Gabe Newland, David Conner, Devon Rush, Stacy Rund, Elijah Flynn, and Gustavo Arriola.

The Wildkats traveled to West Lafayette on Sat., Jan. 13, for the North Central Conference Invitational.
